Salary: circa £38,000

Job Location:  Homebased

Duration:  Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35 (Mon – Fri)

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing, multi-disciplined team where you can have a huge influence over the next couple of years.

As a Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of business transformation and service improvements using the tools, techniques and methods agreed for a wide variety of projects commissioned through the Business Change team.  You will also participate in the wider development and management of the Business Change and Programme Delivery function and best practise delivery of business analysis across Your Housing Group (YHG).

Although this is a home-based role, as our head office is in Birchwood, Warrington, you’ll need to live within a reasonable travelling distance to be able to attend meetings and training when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business strategy by ensuring that business analysis aligns to the business and the strategic objectives of the organisation.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of business analysis to support the delivery of effective business change, ensuring work packages are comprehensively planned, realistic, and deliver agreed benefits.
  • Support projects through the full delivery lifecycle from initial discovery phase through design to implementation
  • Liaise with Stakeholders and Customers and facilitate workshops
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Business Analysis Framework.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Experience of process improvement methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Experience of effective requirements elicitation, analysis and lifecycle management
  • Experience of recommending and evaluating solutions using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Experienced in modelling situations and clearly and confidently conveying discovery findings, problem definitions and solution proposals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, tactful, clear and open interactions with others and the ability to collaborate with people at different levels and across organisational boundaries to gain buy-in.
  • Experience of Agile / Scrum methodology practices
  • Ability to work proactively in a continually changing work environment and with conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to support the Project Managers in effective planning and scheduling of activities.
  • Ability to assess options appraisals to support the development of business cases

Desirable

  • Knowledge / experience of the Social Housing sector
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and approaches
  • BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
