Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bricklayer/Groundworker to join a team tasked with maintaining domestic and commercial properties with a focus on exceptional customer service.

You’ll be paid from the minute you leave home (as your travel to/from patch is included in your work day), you’ll also be regionally based in and around the North West, so no excessive journey times and as you’re working Monday to Friday, you’ll have your weekends free to spend with family and friends.

In the role you will carry out brickwork, ground work and fencing on maintenance, major and minor construction work; ensuring that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.  Duties will include laying flags, edgings, lay/consolidate hard core, landscaping, brick and block walling, fencing, drainage, foundations, excavation.  You will be paired with an experienced Roofer to ensure maximum efficiency.

All tools and equipment required to perform the role will be provided (mobile phone and PDA/hand-held, full uniform, company van and all power tools).

Although not essential, ideally you will have experience working within the social housing sector and have….

• NVQ Level 3 Trade Qualification or previous experience of Flagging, Paving, Concreting, Drainage, Brickwork, Repointing and Fencing works
• Full UK Driving License
• Basic health and safety knowledge in a repairs environment
• Experience of completing repairs and maintenance works
• Experience of delivering services in a customer care environment
