So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Regional Manager to join our Regional Neighbourhood Housing team covering our Liverpool area. 

It’s a great time to join YHG and the team as we continue to focus on delivering a great service to our customers and continuous improvement of our services.

We are looking for a can do’, solution focused, and passionate customer service housing professional, who understands and can contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and has extensive knowledge of allocations and lettings.

You will need to be organised with a strong focus on compliance, customer satisfaction and KPI’s and be willing to support the wider regional teams as and when required.

The role involves direct line management responsibility and a small team responsible for managing the lettings service and customer onboarding, along with compliance requirements of five tower blocks at Sefton Park.

What will my working week look like? 

Exciting and varied! You will lead your team in delivering a great lettings and customer onboarding experience across Liverpool, whilst managing all aspects of compliance for the business applicable to your role.

The role is hybrid with a mix of home working and attending the office on a weekly basis to support, lead and engage your team, so traveling is required.

You will also live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will provide:

  • A great customer centric service, leading your teams in delivering the same
  • A consistent and informative new customer lettings onboarding experience
  • Strong focus on KPI requirements for our lettings and compliance targets
  • Both a reactive and proactive service to the demands of the role and have a solution customer first approach when managing complaints

To be a successful as an Assistant Regional Manager, here at YHG, you will have….

 

  • Experience of managing voids and lettings processes.
  • Strong ICT skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions to improve performance
  • Experience of leading, performance managing and motivating teams in a high-performance culture
  • A collaborative team player with a focus on customer outcomes
  • Proven experience managing and prioritising resources effectively to meet demand
  • Experience or transferrable skills that demonstrate you can deliver exceptional service to a diverse range of customers through others
  • Experience of managing performance or transferrable skills that demonstrate you can get the best out of individuals and teams
  • Ability to inspire others

 

Beneficial to the Role

  • Experience of working in social housing
  • CIH or other relevant qualification
