Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator based at our modern Extra Care Scheme, Oak Priory, Abbey Hulton, Stoke-on-Trent (ST2 8PN). We are a stakeholder of the Sapphire Consortium appointed to deliver 390 high quality retirement apartments as part of a PFI contract in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
As our Administrator, you will
- provide a ‘front of house’ service to the Scheme
- be a real people person, enjoy being customer facing and the first port of call for queries
- enjoy providing a great customer service
- have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- be super organised and can prioritise a busy workload
- have solid experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Our reception is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am to 2pm every Sunday. The hours of work will be 35 per week Monday to Friday with occasional cover required for weekends and bank holidays.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
