Bridge Foyer (Chester CH1 4JR) is a supported housing scheme for vulnerable young people aged between 16 and 24, offering 24 hours support, guidance and learning opportunities to the young people who live there, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Officer.

As our Customer Services Officer, you’ll provide a reception service for the scheme, in addition to providing an administrative and support service for the Bridge Foyer team.  Equally important is your ability to relate well to and understand the needs of young people, from a wide variety of backgrounds.

If you have…

  • good communication / interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to colleagues and customers of all levels and ages
  • strong admin skills and PC skills (with knowledge of MicroSoft Office)
  • good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your own busy work
  • a flexible approach, willing to adapt to changing priorities
  • a good attention to detail / accuracy

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
