Job Title:               Accommodation Officer

Salary:                   £14,160

Contract:               Fixed term contract – 10 months

Location:               Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral

Weekly Hours:      21 hours per week         

So…. What is this role exactly?

We are looking to recruit an Accommodation Officer to work within our specialist property management team at our Arrowe Park site.

You will be contributing to the amazing work undertaken by the Keyworker Team, delivering a professional service to our customers.

We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of a team who can provide a great first customer experience of Your Housing Group, who is results driven and who is able to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners, as well as being able to manage their own workload 

What will my working week look like? 

As our Accommodation Officer, you will be based at our Arrowe Park Keyworker scheme office at River View, CH49 5PF.  Office opening hours are Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, flexible working days and hours to be agreed.

What will I be responsible for doing?

You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the keyworker scheme, which includes rent services, accounting processes and organising repairs and maintenance for a Your Housing Group’s NHS Based accommodation.

You will have responsibility for day to day property, tenancy and rent account management to multiple occupancy properties.

To be a successful Accommodation Officer, here at YHG, you will….

  • have experience of day-to-day property management
  • have experience of tenancy and rent account management
  • have an understanding of contractual and statutory compliance
  • be experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • be committed to providing an outstanding service to our customers
  • have excellent communication skills
  • preferably have a full UK driving licence

This role will suit someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for customers and other key stakeholders.
