ASB & Legal Officer

Job Title:                       ASB & Legal Officer

Salary Banding:           £27,000 - £33,000

Job Location:               Lancashire

Contract Duration:       Permanent

Weekly Hours:              35 (Monday to Friday)

Your Housing Group’s top 2 priorities are to keep people safe and be a great landlord – as an ASB & Legal Officer, you will play a key role in this by improving neighbourhoods and sustaining successful tenancies for our customers. 

We invest in our colleagues, when you join us your existing ASB and Legal knowledge will be further reinforced/refreshed with comprehensive training from an external expert ASB Training Provider.

As an ASB & Legal Officer, you will have…

  • a good level of knowledge of current Housing Legislation and Tenancy Enforcement (Anti-Social Behaviour, crime and disorder),
  • experience of legal processes ie preparation of witness statements, court applications, court attendance and self-representation
  • experience of and management for a wide range of community safety services, including investigating, managing and resolving a diverse range of cases including tenancy breaches and Anti-Social Behaviour

You will work closely with customers to investigate, determine appropriate actions, manage and resolve cases, and also work with a wide range of external stakeholders (local government, Police, Community Safety and Safeguarding Teams), liaising on behalf of both the customer and the Group.

So there’s no excessive travel, you will live within a reasonable commutable distance of your ‘patch’, with the freedom to manage your own diary around your customer visits and stakeholder meetings.   You will visit our brand-new Collaboration Hub in Birchwood, Warrington on occasion, for meetings and training.
