Hours (weekly):  35 hours over 5 days

Your Housing Group have an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Scheme (RLS) Site Officer based at Ryfields Village, Warrington, WA1 7GB

As an RLS Site Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson service, carrying out basic repairs and maintenance as well as health and safety inspections, waste management, maintenance of the fire alarm, CCTV and door entry system and escalating fault reports to contractors.

It’s a given you will have previous experience of delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson activity and as the RLS Site Officer, you will be passionate about supporting the elderly and use your excellent communication skills when liaising with colleagues, customers and contractors.

As an RLS Site Officer, you will have experience of working alone and organising your own workload and you will have previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsers.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS Basic check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
