Hours (weekly): 35hrs per week on a 4 week rota

Your Housing Group has a fabulous opportunity for a Project Officer who is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
Verve Place is a supported housing project for 38 young people aged 16-25 and offers them the opportunity to make progress in their lives, to build resilience and meet their aspirations.
As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting residents to help them achieve their goals, develop independent living and life skills and build excellent relationships with residents, colleagues and professionals from external agencies.
The Project Officers works 7 hour shifts Monday to Friday on a rota basis between 8am and 8pm, including one weekend shift in four. The shifts for the Project Officer role are below:
Week A: 8am to 4pm; Week B: 10am to 6pm; Week C: 11am to 7pm; Week D: 12pm to 8pm

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED (including Child Barred List) check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
