Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Officer based at our Young People Services Foyer; Verve Place, Warrington (WA1 2GL).
Verve Place is a supported housing project for 38 young people aged between 16-25 and as a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting you people to help them achieve their goals, to make progress in their lives, to build resilience, develop life skills and independent living skills. It’s a given as a Project Officer, you will be able to build excellent relationships with customers, colleagues and professionals from external agencies.
As a Project Officer, you will have the ability to relate to young and vulnerable people from a wide variety of backgrounds, providing a safe and supportive environment. Previous experience working with vulnerable young people and having a solid understanding of the risk assessment process is desirable.
Verve Place operates 24/7 to support our customers, the Project Officer will work a 4 week rota:
Week 1 Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; Week 2 Mon-Fri 10am-6pm; Week 3 Mon-Fri 11am-7pm and Saturday 9am-5pm; Week 4 Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED (including Child Barred List) check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
