Job Title:                    Fire Actions Programme Manager

Salary Banding:         £32,645-£40,555 pa

Job Location:             Homebased near Warrington

Contract Duration:   Permanent

Hours (weekly):        35 (Monday to Friday

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting brand new . This opportunity is home-based, with travel in and round the region with frequent visits to our Head Office at 602.

As our Fire Actions Programme Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities including various programmes working towards the completion of YHGs Fire Risk Actions.  You will strategically programme the works to ensure these are completed quickly and balance risk, cost and customer experience.  By undertaking this work, you will ensure our stock meets regulatory and statutory compliance now and in the future.  You will manage repair and improvement contracts delivering YHG statutory and regulatory activity in relation to Fire Safety and Fire Management.  You will work closely with key internal colleagues within Asset Management and Housing along with external partners, ensuring our statutory obligations are met.

You will manage the delivery of a value for money quality service to customers delivered within budget and to service standard and implementing / maintain a performance framework for the management of your work programmes, delivering statutory and specialised fire safety/management services across the Group.

As our Fire Actions Programme Manager, you will also monitor the performance and quality of work carried out by consultants and service providers, analyse feedback to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with agreed service standards and legislation.  Leading monthly contractor performance meetings, monitor contractor performance and ensure continuous improvement, developing improvement plans.

It’s a given as the Fire Actions Programme Manager, you will have experience of managing effective servicing and maintenance contracts to a large and diverse portfolio of mix tenure properties and associated budgets, managing statutory compliance contracts and reactive repairs.

If  you have………….

  • operational experience for ensuring fire safety compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, with policies and procedures aligned
  • experience delivering servicing, responsive repairs, maintenance and improvement programmes for fire safety/management
  • financial planning, budget setting, and budget optimisation experience
  • exceptional relationship building skills
