We’re not-for-profit, but our financial position is strong and secure. We are commercially savvy and dedicated to housing investment. Our annual turnover of £148million gives us a firm foundation on which to build and grow.

There’s a great deal that’s different about Your Housing Group. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to building and maintaining as many quality houses as possible. To serve all steps on the housing ladder, we have a large and diverse portfolio spanning the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands. As our Director of Asset Strategy and Planning, you’ll be instrumental in setting our strategic direction regarding the current portfolio and advising on future investment.

As Director of Asset Strategy and Planning for Your Housing Group, you will be responsible for formulating and delivering the Property Asset Management Strategy in order to deliver the Group’s strategic and commercial objectives.  You will also be accountable for the Property and Asset Unit who in turn are responsible for neighbourhood planning, investment planning, asset management, divestment and NPV performance and the issuing to the delivery team of the planned maintenance programme.

Safety and Quality are at the forefront of everything we do, therefore we are looking for a Director of Asset Strategy and Planning that can also take responsibility for the Central Compliance team, accountable for ensuring that the Group has clear policies and procedures, training plans and programmes for testing ensuring remedial measures are addressed, and the quality assurance of statutory and legal compliance remain at the highest standard.

The Director of Asset Strategy and Planning is a key position within our Senior Leadership Team, therefore experience and confidence advising on Asset strategy at board level, along with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally is paramount to be successful in the role.

In return, we offer a competitive Salary of £85,000 – £92,500, plus 9/10% car allowance, contributory pension (matched to 8%), Private medical insurance (BUPA), health benefits cash scheme, 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays and AGILE working.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.

Your Housing Group is a new generation of housing provider, working efficiently and effectively to build as many quality houses as possible, thereby playing its part in solving the national housing crisis. With over 28,300 homes across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, the business has a large portfolio of retirement living developments and an innovative private rental offer in Nuvu.
