Are you looking for more than a ‘job’? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your career?

Do you excel in providing good Customer Service?

Your Housing Group has opportunities for a Customer Service Advisor, based at their Contact Centre, Your Response, in Preston (PR2 2YP).

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be working in a fast-paced contact centre environment providing information and sign posting customers regarding the services offered by Your Housing Group.

Within a team of Customer Service Advisors, you will work to achieve first call resolution of customer queries, ensuring all incoming/outbound contacts are logged, and outstanding customer contacts followed up, ensure all information is up to date and cases are closed upon resolution.

The Contact Centre is a great place to gain an understanding and exposure to other areas of the business and these opportunities have arisen due to the previous post holders securing another role within the organisation.  If you’re happy to remain within the contact centre and provide an outstanding service to our customers, that’s fine by us! Or once you’ve proven yourself at the Contact Centre and would like to move to another area of the business and support our customers in a different way, Your Housing Group can give you these opportunities.

We offer some great benefits, with up to 25 days annual leave (increasing with length of service), a Cash Health Care Plan, Pension Scheme and discounts eg Gym membership and cinema tickets – just to name a few!

It’s a given in the Customer Service Advisor role, you will be flexible, resilient and a customer focussed individual with the confidence to take ownership to ensure an excellent customer experience.   These are qualities that you will need for any role you move to within the Group.

At Your Housing Group, we offer our customers different ways to connect with us; from telephone through to social media, therefore, if you’re comfortable with multi-channel communications, then we would love to hear from you.

As this role allows access to confidential tenancy information, we are unable to accept applications from existing tenants/residents or those who have an association with existing tenants/residents.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.

Your Housing Group is a new generation of housing provider, working efficiently and effectively to build as many quality houses as possible, thereby playing its part in solving the national housing crisis. With over 28,300 homes across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, the business has a large portfolio of retirement living developments and an innovative private rental offer in Nuvu.

Prior to application, please review the attached Role Profile to better understand the role and key responsibilities.

Closing date: Wednesday, 4th September 2019

Should we receive a high number of applications, we may close this vacancy earlier than the date indicated above

Your Housing Group values diversity and encourages applications from all communities. Your Housing Group operates a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for tenants or anyone who resides in a Your Housing Group property.  It also operates the scheme for any applicants who declare they have a disability. Those applicants who meet the minimum requirements for the role as set out in the role profile will be guaranteed an interview.  Some roles may be subject to probity checks which will override the scheme where a potential conflict of interest or a probity matter has been identified.
