Job Title:  Culture & Employee Engagement Consultant

Salary Banding:  £48,000 - £60,300

Job Location:  Birchwood, Warrington

Contact Duration:  Fixed Term Contract for 2 years

Hours (weekly):  35, Monday to Friday

There’s a lot of great things happening at Your Housing Group (YHG). Our internal environment is evolving, and we are currently undergoing a significant period of transformational change, from the launch of a digital platform for our customers, through to the birth of a new Business Transformation & Change engine within the company.

To continue with this evolution, we are now looking to undertake a wide range of culture & employee engagement change projects that will positively impact both our business and our people. Due to this, we are looking for an innovative, driven and engaging Culture & Employee Engagement Consultant to shape this change and to drive and deliver these transformational projects.

You will work with our teams to ensure we embrace a culture of digital, customer focused solutions and helping us move towards a High-Performance culture.

  • Capable of solving complex organisational challenges through people-related solutions. Able to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.
  • Proven in designing and continuously evolving new ways to assess potential, skills and values, giving a memorable candidate experience aligned to our EVP and culture
  • Proven in playing your part in designing and developing a strong, creative, employer brand message that curates an exciting and inspiring story
  • Competent in defining inspiring internal communication channels, messages and events to engage our colleagues
  • Instrumental in developing a positive employee experience that surprises, delights and amazes colleagues, enabling them to bring their best self to work everyday
  • Able to work with leaders to deliver a performance culture, designing solutions that are sustainable and measurable
  • Enhance and measure alignment to our values to ensure they run through the lifecycle of the colleague journey
  • Confident building strong brand advocates and excellence in leadership

  • Extensive experience in effectively driving people and culture across a diverse and complex organisation that is geographically spread across the North West region

In our model, the Culture & Employee Engagement Consultant builds strong people management skills with the leadership team and has the necessary credibility to take a diverse range of stakeholders on the journey of change. Authentic, compelling and credible, the Culture & Employee Engagement Consultant will help shape a culture of collaboration, empowerment, ambition, innovation and fast-paced change.

In return, we offer a generous package comprising of a salary of £48,000 – £60,300 plus car allowance of 9/10% - Contributory pension (matched to 8%), Private medical insurance (BUPA), Health benefits cash scheme, 26 days holiday plus all bank holidays and AGILE working. The project lifecycle for this change will be approximately 2 years, therefore this role will initially be offered as a 2-year fixed term contract. However, there is ample opportunity for this position to lead to further involvement within the Change and Transformation engine within YHG.
