Contract Duration:  Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35 hrs a week (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to join the team at Airedale Hospital, (BD20 8US).  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience of building maintenance services.

As a Caretaker, you will work alongside the Keyworker Accommodation Officer where you will be responsible for undertaking  day to day maintenance duties.

You will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of communal areas, offices, and external grounds e.g.:  changing lights and tap washers, grouting, sealing around baths, cleaning of communal stairwells, and painting.  You will work alongside the Accommodation Officer to ensure properties are ready for occupation as well as undertaking property inspections. You will also be responsible for some cleaning and compliance related activities as well as providing office cover when required.

As our Caretaker, you will be competent at undertaking low level repairs, have excellent relationship management skills, be highly motivated, computer literate (Outlook, Word and Excel (basic skill required) and able to work alone.
