Salary:                £70,000-£80,000 plus 9% / 10% car allowance

Your Housing Group is growing and evolving, and we are now looking for an innovative, driven and engaging leader to join us as a Programme Manager – Asset Transformation, to deliver our exciting Asset Transformation Programme.

We have recently been appointed a strategic partner to Homes England, which means there are fantastic multi-team projects currently being delivered and, on the horizon, which will change and transform our Asset Management and Customer Service Delivery capabilities, through people, process and system change. 

As Programme Manager - Asset Transformation, you will be the strategic lead, focusing on transforming Asset Management capabilities to achieve significant change in the way they are delivered; implementing new technology, new business processes and changes to the way people in Asset Management functions within YHG work, through the implementation of a new Asset Target Operating Model (TOM). 

In managing the programme, you will manage the achievement of outcomes, resources and risks and ensure that the benefits can be quantified and tracked. 

You will be the gatekeeper of all Asset Transformation related projects and will provide advice and guidance across the function and change team. You confidently driving the process and the pace of change, managing resources, staffing requirements and skills needed.

As a Programme Manager, you will have a strong delivery focus, managing risk to the business, using your outstanding leadership skills to influence internal and external stakeholders; ensuring they are engaged, have an understanding and input to the review of business process is crucial.

You will be a positive, energetic, innovative leader with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrable track record of successful programme and project delivery to successfully transform our Asset Business Model.  You will have extensive Programme Management experience covering people, process and systems specifically focused on Asset Management and Operations.

Reporting to the Director of Business Change and Transformation, you will ensure there is a defined and agreed vision, a clear picture of the future state, a fit for purpose Target Operating Model (TOM) and ensure the change environment is fully understood.  Making sure required costs and benefits are evaluated, the investment for change is secured and that effective change leadership is in place.

It’s a given you will also have practical experience of project/programme methodologies, preferably within a large customer focused organisation.  Housing experience and a practical working knowledge of agile project delivery is essential.  

You won’t be doing it alone, you will work with and motivate a team of multi-disciplined Change Professionals, including Project Managers and Business Analysts.
