Salary Banding: £16,800 - £21,105  per annum pro rata

Job Location: Hazelmere, Winsford

Contract Duration: Permanent

Hours: 17.5 Hours (over 3 week rota)

Your Housing Group have an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Scheme (RLS) Assistant / Administrator based at their Hazelmere Scheme in Winsford.

As the RLS Administrator, you will work as part of a small team to provide front of house services, carry out general administration duties and work with the RLS Scheme Manager in organising and delivering social events for the scheme.

Your role as RLS Assistant / Administrator will be to support the RLS Scheme Manager and wider team to deliver their roles and services to meet the Cheshire PFI (Private Financial Initiative) contract and performance targets. 

As the RLS Administrator, it’s a given you have good knowledge of IT systems and excellent organisational skills, being able to assess, prioritise and organise your own workload. You will also have excellent communication skills to be able to work with members of the public, particularly older people in an empathetic manner.

The hours of work for this role will be 17.5hrs averaging out over a 3 week rota:

Week 1 – 21.5hours working Monday 1-5pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday rest days, Friday 8am-1.30pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm

Week 2 – 17.5 hours working Monday rest day, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-1.30pm, Thursday  8am-2.30pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday rest day

Week 3 – 13.5 hours working Monday and Tuesday 8am-12pm, Wednesday and Thursday rest day, Friday 11.30am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday rest day

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
