Job Title:  Activity Co-ordinator

Salary Banding:  £19,200 – £24,120 pro rata

Job Location: Ryfields Retirement Village, Arena Gardens, Warrington  

Contract Duration: Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 months

Hours (weekly):  20 hours (Monday to Friday)

Your Housing Group has a fabulous opportunity for an Activities Co-ordinator, based at Ryfields Retirement Village, In Warrington.  This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week to be agreed, working Monday to Friday.

As an Activity Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery of a full and varied activity programme incorporating a range of activities to ensure that all customers have opportunities to engage and be involved.

Ryfields Village is our biggest scheme with 243 apartments and bungalows with superb facilities and a thriving community of over 300 customers.  You will be responsible for delivering activity that is representative of older people’s aspirations.

It’s a given that as our Activity Co-ordinator, you will have experience of delivering activity programmes within an older people’s service setting. Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to relate to a diverse range of people are essential.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED (including Adult Barred List) check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
